Horse Riding Camp: 600 KM

Horse Riding Camp: 600 KM

A program for children who want five days fully dedicated to horses and riding

This intensive riding school, offered in both Bosnian and English, is designed for riders with prior experience. It is ideal for children who want to spend the entire camp focused exclusively on horses, stable work, and advancing their riding skills. On the first day of camp, each participant is assigned their own horse, which they care for throughout all five days at Pegasos. Campers learn complete horse care, including:

  • daily grooming
  • stall cleaning
  • morning and evening feeding
  • recognizing a horse’s needs and behavior
  • safe and proper preparation of the horse for work

A key component of the program is groundwork training, theory, horse psychology, and developing correct riding skills according to each child’s age and level. What makes this program unique is our approach based on natural horsemanship. Children learn to communicate with horses through trust, energy, and understanding – becoming little “horse whisperers” along the way. Our instructors have trained in the United States, learning directly from trainers who practice traditional cowboy-style horsemanship.

The structure and intensity of lessons are tailored to each child, ensuring safety, progression, and professional guidance at all times.

In addition to the riding program, participants may also join selected activities from the Sports Camp, depending on the daily schedule:
  • Winter hiking with snow equipment
  • Ice skating or hockey training
  • Orienteering – sports navigation and competition
  • Soft archery – coordination and precision training
  • Winter “Pegasosijada” and retro competitions
  • Workshops: winter first aid, mountaineering basics, knot-tying, mountain safety, creative workshops
  • Evening programs: game night, movie night, theatre performance, costume party, disco night
