Sport & Riding Camp: 580 KM

Sport & Riding Camp: 580 KM

This is a balanced program that combines riding and sports. Children spend part of the day working with horses, and the rest of the day participating in outdoor activities, giving them both continuity in riding and a wide range of experiences.

The daily schedule is structured so that riding has an important role, without excluding other activities. Children spend time every day in the stable and riding arena, and then join the rest of the group for sports and educational activities.

This program is for children who:

  • want an active and diverse program
  • want more riding, but do not want to miss other activities
  • want daily contact with horses
  • enjoy a combination of sports and riding

Key difference

This is a program where riding is a daily and central activity, but not the only one. Compared to the sports camp, children spend significantly more time with horses. Compared to the riding camp, the program still includes a wide range of other activities.

What does this program include?

The program combines horse riding as the central activity with a variety of additional content.

Children work with horses daily for up to 3 hours. They are divided into groups based on their level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). The program includes riding lessons adapted to each level, horse-related theory, riding practice, and daily horse care (grooming, feeding, preparation). Throughout the camp, children build a connection with “their” horse and learn responsibility through hands-on experience.

After riding activities, children take part in the sports camp program:

  • Sport climbing
Safe and controlled climbing exercises on an artificial wall or outdoor climbing site, guided by experienced instructors.
  • Swimming
Refreshing summer activities at the pool, with organized transport and instructor supervision.
  • Adrenaline park
Age-appropriate activities that develop coordination, confidence, and courage through overcoming various obstacles at height.
  • Hiking trip
One organized trip during the week (Skakavac, Lukomir, Trebević, Bjelašnica, or another location), depending on weather conditions and the group.
  • camping
Setting up tents, staying and sleeping outdoors, with a campfire and shared evening activities. Children learn basic camping skills, while evenings around the fire include social time and roasting marshmallows.
  • Orienteering
Team-based navigation challenges and games that develop problem-solving and spatial awareness.
  • Martial arts
Basics of karate or aikido (depending on the group), focusing on discipline, movement control, and confidence.
  • Archery (soft archery)
Activities that develop precision, focus, and control in a fun and safe way.
  • Workshops
Topics such as mountaineering, knots, first aid, ecology, and creative activities, all through practical, hands-on learning.
  • First aid and rescue activities
Basic first aid training and rescue simulations in cooperation with the Mountain Rescue Service.
  • Games and competitions
Team challenges, “Games without Borders,” and traditional outdoor games.
  • Evening activities
Board games, movies, themed nights, disco, or relaxed social time.
